Shrimp Farming on Sand Project
(Thien Tan Group) – As the first enterprise in the province to implement a closed-loop industrial shrimp farming process on sand with a scale of 30 hectares, the company has been operating the project since 2002 with a productivity of 15 tons/ha/crop, bringing effective economic results and creating jobs for local workers, including ethnic minority laborers.

To minimize environmental pollution and maximize the utilization of by-products and waste from shrimp farming, the company has invested in connecting a wastewater treatment system using the organic sedimentation method. After treatment (meeting environmental standards), the wastewater is pumped into a reservoir and reused for the entire shrimp farming area through a closed-loop process. Solid waste collected from the process is used as fertilizer for crops. With its active role in aquaculture development, the company has been awarded certificates of merit by the Department of Fisheries, the People's Committee of Quang Ngai Province, and the Ministry of Fisheries.
